To set the alarm:

1: make sure everything is locked from inside (passenger door, hatch, hood)

2. open your door and press your lock down. You should hear a beep.

3. When you get out hold the handle up as you shut the door.

4. Watch your security light. It should be solid light. Then it will start blinking rapidly and shut off.

Your alarm is set.

It will go off if someone unlocks it from the inside or somehow without using a key.

Some of the models (I think the 10 AE) came with window sensors.

sounds like when my brother's car needed a tps, his engine light came on when he let off the gas. Does it jerk at all or does it idle smooth?
