I searched but found nothing to help so her we go. My friend races spec miatas. he has a set of 8lb wheels hes giving me if they will fit on my 88 SE. 4x100 is liek mine correct? Will they fit? I really hope they do, there light have great tires and i want them haha.

One more thing. .. I am getting shitty gas mileage, and i have replaced all spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, and 02 sensor and still i get less than 200 miles on a tank of gas?? Could a bad injector/s be causing this. the only thing left to replace is the air filter.... which I have yet to do.

nope, wrong bolt pattern. Miata's use 323/Protoge bolt patterns.

yeah check your air filter, but dirty injectors that are stuck can also cause poor mileage. Do you have trouble starting cold or warm?

 

Building off of what Icemark said, also if you're flooding alot, or smell fuel while driving-it's probably your injectors.. That's the problem with my dad's vert. You could either replace 'em with new ones or blueprint 'em at RC.

Sorry about the impatience but I didnt want to drive down there for them not to fit... liek I did *lol* Oh well who needs free 8lb wheels with toyos anyways.. Uhm car doesnt flood, has once but only once. And I dont know what kanaida meant by blueprint them and who or where or what is RC? Thanx for the help fellas.

RC engineering in CA. They clean and blue print your injectors. They are really good I hear. I am sending my to them since I am installing a new engine in my car.

Yeah, RC being fuel supply people. They'll set you up with any kind of injector. They sell their own, and if they don't have the right one for you, send them the ones you have, and they'll fabricate them to what you need. They'll boar them out or whatever. They're great. Pricey though. Great craftmenship though.

Blue printing is when they'll take apart your injector and rebuild it to original manufacturer specs and therefore being like brand new, but without the worry of aftermarket bolt up and what not. Basically, they rebuild your injector exactly how mazda had them put in your car originally. Sweet deal, cheaper than new injectors.

oh yea this may be a dumb question..... but are there a total of 4 or 2 injectors.... i.e primary and secondary how many total.

Total of 4 injectors - 2 primary, 2 secondary.

Check your AFM too. Make sure the flapper door swings freely - spray some carb cleaner in there too. Careful though, you can damage them pretty easily, and the are expensive!

Nick86 gave a good point too about your afm. That's the big metal box-looking thing that is attached to the bottom of your intake. If you unbolt your entire air box, on the bottom you will find the afm. Disconnect the air hose and check the flap in there. It should give a little resistance. Like a spring loaded mechanism. Sorry if you already knew this. Just makin' sure you know what you're looking for and looking at.
