you need to search for vac rack removal or emissions removal. Make sure you did everyhthing correctly with that because if you didn't then I'm sure you could somehow get some smoking. Now just keep this in your mind, If it didn't happen before whatever you did then it started after you removed stuff then it has something to do with what you did. retrace your steps and double and tripple check everything. THis is what I did when I removed the vac rack and because I did this I had no problems at all. Good luck. Oh yeah one thing about rx7's is that that have very bad low end torque because they where not made for drag racing. Just something to keep in mind when thinking about making this a drag car.

thanks for the good advice. But, I dont want a drag car, I want a street rocket that handles! as for the problem, I have had this smoking problem from day one with this car. i have been eliminating everything I can to solve the problem, gain a couple extra horses here and there and make more room under the hood for future mods. I JUST CANT GET RID OF SMOKE!! LOL anyway, I need info on crankcase breathers. I believe it may be too much backpressure in crankcase because it smokes very badly when i plug the breather lines. still smoikes when they are vented into atmosphere, but not as bad....... Bump for ideas!! and thanks!!

well have you checked for bad coolant seals? just take the rad cap off and crank the car if the radiator starts bubling all over the place then you know a coolant seal is bad. Otherwise you are doing the right thing by taking out all the extra stuff like emissions because it does help trouble shooting the car.
