help with fuel cut switch
hey guys ive tried searching but maybe someone can help me.
what is the best method to install a fuel kill switch to replace the fuse pull method when my car floods?
is there a better method than connecting an on/off switch directly to the fuse box under the hood and running the switch to inside the car?

What year car do you have? If its a series 5 ('89-'92), then you can kill the fuel delivery simply by holding the gas pedal to the floor while you crank the engine.
For S4 cars, you have to tie a switch into something for the fuel pump. There is a relay under the dash near the steering column. Check the FSM for the location of the wire that comes out of the relay and sends power to the fuel pump circuit. However, if your car is flooding, you should get it fixed instead of making permanent mods to the fuel circuit.

Assuming you have a S4 (helps if you tell us) look under the dash by the steering column. You'll see a relay with a yellow 5-pin plug. Cut the middle wire (black/white) and wire the switch into it.

I learned from experience- forget the fuel cutout switch, fix the injectors. when you let the engine die from fuel starvation it tends to varnish up the injectors over time...

why do so many people refer others to RC engineering when www.cruzinperformance.com will do the same job for less than half the money?

After you get your injectors back from them, do you need to put any more O rings on the injectors? Or are they ready to put back in the car?
Cruzin looks like they do a great job on the injectors. That was some good info.
Thx
