Help finding Oil Pressure Wire etc

I'm having trouble finding the yellow/red wire cause there are a couple in the front harness coming out of the firewall. I also need to find the tach and water temp wire.

the oil pressure sender and water temp sensor are located on the rear iron on the driver side. above the oil cooler line

I don't own nor have ever looked at a series five. BUT........if you look at the wiring diagrams for a series five, you see that the wire for the sender is on the Engine harness and goes back to a plug that mates with the Front harness.

That plug (X-07) is what you need to find. The plug (X-07)that mates the Front with the Engine harness. In the attached jpg you can see the plug (X-07) has ten sockets/pins. Find that plug (X-07)and you can find the yellow/red wire in it and then follow it to the sender.

And I know you know better, but the engine harness is not the one with fuel injectors and all that bull. The Engine harness runs on the left side of the engine bay and has the coil wires and oil sender unit wires and such.

That ten socket plug has a name. It is X-07 and it's location is kinda shown in the attached jpg.

I notice it also carrys the two alternator wires from the alt small plug.

The over the top switch and neutral switch wires from the transmission, also go to X-07

Can't you just go to the ENGINE side of the plug and follow the yellow/red wire back towards the sender unit? Maybe not I guess, if it's wrapped up. Seems the yellow/red wires *breakout* from the engine harness wouldn't be too far from X-07. Then again, never seen a series five.
