Hello. Today I received the FCD HKS. I have been looking in other posts how to connect but the colors of the wires do not match those of my car. I attached a photo of my connector. The FCD has four wires: red, black, yellow and white. can anybody help me? Is a RX7 FC S4 turbo 2. Thanks
thank you for answering me. I had already read that post but the problem I have is that the colors of the cables do not match those of my car. where can i get FMS wiring manual?thanks
hello. I found this diagram and the wire colors match mine. I don't know where I should connect the white wire of the FCD, in another post on this forum I have read that it goes to the press sensor but I don't know what wire it is. The yellow one connects to the BR/R that goes to the ecu. Thanks for the help
Do you have the hks manual to reference? The fcd should connect to 12v power, ground, and then the other 2 wires intercept the signal from boost pressure sensor to the ecu, one side being the white wire on the fcd and the other side being the yellow wire on the fcd. (Cut the signal wire going back to ecu and connect each end to either the white or yellow fcd wires based on the hks wiring manual).
anyone care to double check? My car was s4 t2 and ran a fcd years ago, but converted to s5 wiring and now running a gm 3 bar map sensor.
this is the same principle for other piggybacks like a safc. They just modify the signal coming out of their respective sensors.
