Help Coolant Leak

hey guys i drove my rx7 today and my coolant light turned on and the anoying buzzer went off so i pulled over to notice that my motor was dripping rad fluid from the front of it a constant drip might i add, it was coming from just below the pully which usually has that big dumb fan on it but i removed the fan and i have electronic fans hooked up instead but thats besides the point, is that my water pump or is it just a gasket leak and is this common amongst the 13b jdm 89 motors can someone please email me at rippin_rx7@hotmail.com or pm me right away and let me know wtf it is i am lost as i am a first time rx7 owner thank you

if its leaking from the pulley, it could most likely be the water pump... check the hole in the bottom, called a weep hole. if thats where the water is coming from, then you need a new pump.

water pump like ^^^he^^^ said. it's easy to fix. I had to replace mine last weekend.

i wouldnt say it's any more common in a jspec than an aspec. if you got a used jdm motor, you gotta understand it sat for a verrrry long time (10+yrs).

when you buy the new waterpump, make sure you get the housing gasket too, it will come loose causing a broken gasket.
