help. code 07 boost sensor. Forum Members?

i have 86 na with s5 engine, did led code check and showed 07 code.
i tested boost sensor everything looks fine getiing 12v--ground----5v----and 2v to ecu. vac line isnt cloged. but im still getting same code. do i have to reset ecu to clear the code? should this code be fixxed asap, will it harm the performance or realibility, thank you.

if you have a n/a (naturally aspirated) motor you do't have a boost sensor
if you have a s5 motor how can you be running a s4 ecu?
if i was your ecu i'd be confused too!!.....code 420!

NO, the S4 ECU won't run a S6 or third gen motor without major tweeks and changes.

and the codes clear on a S4 ECU everytime you turn the key off.

And what on the S5 motor are you running. A S4 ECU won't run a S5 engine, as the S5 engine uses an electrical MOP.

Now maybe you have a S5 block and or you have the MOP removed and a S4 harness (since the S5 harness won't plug into a S4 ECU)... but either way, you are not being clear enough for someone to help you.

I'd take a look at where the boost/pressure sensors vacuum nose is connected to the engines intake manifold. Describe just where it's attached.

S4 don't need resetting from my experience. I can pull the plug off a tps/boost sensor/air intake sensor and the code will appear. Put said plug back on an the code goes south.

its attached to intake manifold, to lower part, right in the middle. blowing thought the hose does have some restriction.
