ballance question?
i just installed a jdm tii motor in my car it was an auto trans car so i installed a fidenza 9lb flywheel i had i layin around so in it went my question was do i need to have it reballanced i used the motors origal flex plate counter weight iv been told by a guy that i do but he also says TII,s didnt come in autos (jdm)

you would use the auto tranny counterweight that came with the engine, on the light flywheel.
and in Japan about half of the FCs had a auto tranny and the turbo motor was the only choice. Only in the states was the auto tranny banned from the turbo motor

Initially the turbo auto tranny was not imported due to weight issues (it would have put the car into gas guzzler tax range), when the weight restrictions were later removed, it was left off for cost reasons (would have added $800-$1000 more to the price of the Turbo).
