Help!!! Changed Turbo to Manifold Gasket now smoking like crazy
I took the turbo (BNR stage III) off and everything else hooked up to it, and replaced the gasket, and now car smokes like crazy. It seems like it is cooking coolant ... what could be wrong here? It seemed to run fine though... Please help!!! I need get home (an hour away) tomorrow. Thanks!!!

I did this once. You didn't tighten the coolant line coming off the turbo (right up against the block) well. Its REALLY hard to get to with the turbo tightened in the car..

I connected the line back with little sealant. The steam is coming from the turbo and down pipe and the exhasut. Very lost on this one.
What kind of coolant circuits is in the the turbo?

Nothing will visibly drip. Make sure that the banjo bolts are tight and use new crush wahsers. It is very, very rare for coolant to leak into the turbo as to do so would mean a massive crack in the center section casting.
If it smells like coolant, then it's coolant. Often it leaks from a tiny pinhole and vaporizes as soon as it hits the air so you won't see it drip.
