HELP car wont idle

we got my car to start, i was doing a crate motor swap and ran out of funds half way through, its a N/A ,motor, it will start, rev to 4500 and if i dont touch the gas it will die, but if i feather the gas it can go down to around 2000rpm and die after a while, does anybody have any solutions, my friends have told me : vaccum leaks, motor hasnt been started in so long so get it warmed up, my tps or afm may be messed up, so if anyone can help with this, thanks!

Starts and then immediately dies...sounds lik a massive vacuum leak to me. Besides the obvious checks for the vacuum lines, also make sure the gaskets at the UIM and LIM are sound. There are O rings on each injector which, if the are shredded, dry rotted or otherwise messed up will also cause a vacuum leak.

so what RPM does it sit at if you hold the gas in position and keep it alive? I had a problem like what you describe and it turned out my secondary and primary injectors were hooked up backwards. I could feather it and keep it at about 2500 or hold it constantly at around 5000.
