help car is overheating

Exclamation help car is overheating

ok, from the moment i start the motor it just gets hotter n hotter until i turn it off.

the radiator hoses swell up alot but the radiator stays cold.

i turn on the heater n nothing but cold air comes out.

its a 87 turboII but i have a non turbo water pump installed...(long story why)

can it be the waterpump? maby my radiator is clogged? maby the hoses are bad

plz help!!

If there is no circulation then there is a problem with the water pump.

Yea, check the water pump, also check the thermostat to make sure that its opening and check your coolant lines to make sure they arent clogged...

Better get that prob fix fast, coz rotary and overheating is a no no no (specially a stock 20yrs old motor)...

3yrs ago I ended up going thru a rebuild coz of overheating issue.

If the hoses are swelling up and yet there is no circulation it would have to be a clog or a dead thermostat. The water pump is obviously working if the hoses swell.

Don't drive! I broke a motor overheating it once.

for what youre saying it sounds like the thermostat is stuck. the water pump is the same on both n/a and turbo engines so dont worry about that. but like the previous people posted check your thermostat first.
