Exclamation HELP! blown motor?

i started my car up, cold outside, rpms came up good for like a second, then dropped down quick, exhaust rumbled, real low tone, and stalled out. kept stalling, so i gave it some gas when i started it up, and it revved real slow... i don't know if it would ever get to 8grand. it'll move, but real slow, and accels real slow, and i don't think it'll go faster than 20 or 30 miles an hour tops. i'm guessing i'm running on one rotor and that i've got a blown apex seal, no? PLEASE help me! also, anyone know a place to get this thing worked on in Charleston, SC? tx.

Standard blown apex symptoms:

-hard, galloping rhythmic starting duh-duh-duh

-sounds like a lawnmower when it fires

-refusal to idle or run well below 2000-1500rpms

-lots of vibration

-slow revving

-total loss of power and inability to pull out from a stop

-strong fuel smell, backfiring, popping, from unburned fuel the dead rotor is spitting out.

kevin landers from rotary resurrection is helping me out. he met me halfway from sc and tn and is really professional about the whole deal. along with the rebuild i'm getting my 5/6th ports ported, an lsd on the rear, pineapple sleeves and new clutch. moreover, kevin does all of this work at a very reasonable price. i highly recommend him: www.rotaryresurrection.com

Good luck, take a lesson from me earned the hard way: Don't recommend anyone until after you have driven the final product. This is in no way meant to be a bash on Kevin! Just an observation from my 3000 dollar lesson. John
