well, when you said bog down... like the rpm drops and then kicks up and and down, right? well, what kind of upgrades or downgrades are there? i'm just guessing right now, maybe it might be your TPS(throttle positioner sensor) that needs adjusting, or vac leaks.

get back to the forum after you figure out what's changed and if there are any leaks. take pictures and videos if you can too. good luck

It sounds like a fuel problem to me. I had this same exact same thing happen to me, replaces the whole fuel system, worked ok but then would bog at WOT and high RPM's.

Got to the point it would not start. After messing around i found this in the tank:

That pump was brand new less than a week before and about 3 - 4 hours of runtime.

So i would try that.

Anytime there is trouble hitting the throttle and an eventual reluctance to start, I've found that the culprit is inside the fuel tank. If there is any kind of rust on or in the tank, a fuel filter will clog in less than 10 miles. IMHO, check the fuel pump and the filter again and see what's up since you put it in new.

yea, if you can... get into your fuel tank. check the fuel pump and replace the sock. and make sure you reseal it or you'll leak gas too.

Yep, that will do it.

You now have another problem, with that much rust your fuel filter is gone, replace that before trying to start the car. The injectors may also by clogged, might want to send them out to be cleaned, at least put some injector cleaner in the tank (i would put in a 1/4 tank of gas and then a whole bottle).

also, just vacuming th rust in the tank won't get it clean, you will need to wash it out good, with some cleaner. Brake cleaner works good, but there is other stuff. Then rinse the tank real good until no rust comes out.

Then before the water you used to rinse it rusts the tank some more use some brake cleaner or aclahol to clean the tank out one last time.

You want all the rust gone.

read my above post, your fuel filter IS clogged. Change that out and see what happens.

Also, your injectors are most likely clogged as well so put some injector cleaner in the tank, make it a heavy conistration.

Might be a bad OMP too...

Just guessin, but it might be worth checkin out. I had the same problem, and was convinced it was a fuel problem, and spent alot of time and money, when I just needed a new OMP.

Limp mode is only on the S5, his is an S4 so he doesn't have that.

Also, the OMP stands for Oil metering Pump. It injects a small amount of oil into the rotors to keep them oiled.

honestly it sounds like it is flooding or has low compression. Search for both of those to get more info.

Sounds to me like you should check compression. Is there any smoke?
