Help!!!!!!!!!!!!
i just installed a new battery for my TII but when i was putting it in negative was sparking. after that the car won't start or anything will work like the lights and all those things. the only thing that was working was the horn but only when i was taking the negative side out. plz tell me what to do now.

You are supposed to connect the negative terminal first are you not? EDIT: I guess it might be positive first, but that makes no sense to me...wouldn't you want to ground everything before connecting power to it?)
It shouldn't be sparking unless #1 you put the positive terminal on first. or #2 you put the battery in wrong and you have mistaken the positive for the negative.
Either way you can damage your electronics or blow the main fuse (take a look at your fuses and look for a blown fuse...the connection will be missing in the fuse if it is blown.)

Something was drawing current for it to spark. Did the door happen to be open?
Make sure the terminals are good and tight and then check to see if anything is obviously on. If not, its time to get a voltmeter and start pulling fuses.

hmmm
Did you get the wrong battery or something? hmmm...
Make absolutely sure the + and - are on the right connectors. I cannot see anything else being wrong with it (unless the battery - isn't properly grounded or something...hmmm...I am lost)

ah I remember that problem...
I remember that problem, It was the stock security system going off in my case.
Try wireing up the battery with the doors locked, then unlock the doors with the key (i know it has a hood sensor, but that might shut it off)

hmm...
well fuses only blow when there is to much amperage running through them...so you might have a short circuit some where or a lack of a ground. I say somewhere because if it is electrical, it could be anywhere.

It takes major juice to blow the main fuse. (Its 80 amps on an S4, I think 100 on an S5).
Look for a short directly off the positive battery cable, or possibly around the alternator.

Check every connection that comes off the main battery cable. It takes a lot to blow the main fuse.

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
Sounds to me like he hooked up the battery backwards,
But as far as disconnecting or hooking up a battery:
Ground always comes off first and goes back on last.
