Exclamation Help!! '87 n/a runs like a$$! HELP,please; facing 13b withdrawal!!!

Guys, HELP!!! My '87 n/a is running like a$$, it cranks and idles fine, but when you nail the gas (hot or cold), it goes into a slow cycle rev pattern (up-down-up-down b/w idle and 2000rpm). I just had the local rx7 shop swap in some new fuel lines cuz my old secondary line was leaking, and ever since i got it back it's been doing this. I don't honestly think he screwed it up or did something crappy like stole my good injectors or something cuz the dirt and grime on all the sensors/injectors is untouched. The night i got it back it seemed to be kind of running rich b/c it would, for the first time in its life, blow fire through a stock exhaust! Now it's doing this crap, and the weird part is, you can hold the TPS plunger in with your finger and rev it all the way to redline very cleanly. I was willing to bet on it being the TPS, but it may also be my MAF sensor. Any feedback is greatly cherished guys, thanks!

Try just disconnecting the tps, get in and driving. Better or worse?Better? Adjust the tps after checking for an open from idle to full throttle with a ohm meter.

You might want to check your ignition timing, particularly the leading side. My old '85 GSL had a weird slow rev problem, so I hooked up a timing light and damn--no fire to the leading plugs. I changed the ignitor on the distributor and it ran great. I believe the ignitor is an integral part of the coil on 2nd gens. Just a thought.

Is your exhaust stock? if it is, check your main catalyc converter, it might just be internally shot from running rich. Ill be checking this post. hope I could be of some help to ya...
