Help.....
Hello all, please bear with me. I have never used an online forum before, aside from college. I have a 1988 Rx-7 convertible, and I have an interesting problem. The car is hot-rodded, and a full list would be too extensive to list here. The engine is an Atkins, and is stage two street ported. I have a microtech lt-8 installed, and tuned by Chris of Rotary Performance (www.rx-7.com) of Texas. the car has been sitting for a month or so. I got it running today. When you floor the accelerator, the engine runs strongly to 3000 RPM, and then either misses badly, or outright refuses to accellorate. If you do not floor it, it will accellorate smoothly. I oiled, and worked the secondary port actuators, and they seem to be working. All sensors and connections appear to be good. Anybody have any ideas? I would ask the local "Mazda guy", but thats me. Any help would be greatly aprreciated.

Thank you Craiger for letting me know that there is a Microtech section, I had no clue. I really am new at this. In response to RotaryRocket88, the car has a racing beat header and presilencer bolted on to a Greddy Powermax exhaust. I am going to post on the Microtech section now, but if anyone has any more ideas, Ill check here too. Thanks.
