Engine Wiring Harness Proplem 89 N/A Automatic

Ok I need help. I rebuilt my motor. Installed it in car. Everything that I took off is back in. I taped all my electrical connections but some could not be read. (faded) but I'm sure I connected them correctly, except and here's the problem.... At the end of the wiring harness are four connections that I can not find where they connect. The end of one wire is a plastic green female connection. Two are grey with red inside. And the last is a black oily round-type connection. (looks like a male connection) Now I thought that if I turned the car on, the idiot panel light might help me, however it didn't. The car will turn over but will not fire at all. All the electricals seem to be working, except the fuel pump. As I turned the ignition switch on, I read in the manual that I should hear the pump activate if I listened where the gas goes in with the cap off. Nothing. The fuel is fresh and clean and I looked at the fuel pump. Filter in fuel pump is clean. I disconnected the two fuel lines in the engine and both were dry. So I'm sure the fuel pump is not working. It was when I tore the engine down. As a matter of fact the car was running. Do one of these electrical lines feed power to the fuel pump? Does anybody have an idea where the wires connect to? The two grey/red inside wires look like fuel injection connections. However, I have the two injectors connected already. I've searched my engine bay forever and can not see where they go... Did I connect somewhere wrong? I really don't think I did, because the wires all lines up as they originally layed. Somebody please help.....

You would have to jumper tthe fuel check connector and w/key to on the fuel pump will turn on, but it won't if you just turn the key to on.

There are four fuel injectors. Two primary and two secondary.

You need to take a careful look at the connectors/plugs in question and state how many wires there are and what the wire colors are in each plug to allow those to help you. W/o this info it is nothing but a guess.

Your sure I have four fuel injectors? I've only located two. I don't see where the other two would go or are? But as I looked at the wires I thought they looked like fuel injector connections. I thought maybe the wires were there pre-stock during assembly incase the car was supposed to be designed for a turbo. Where should I look? If you have a picture, that would be very helpful... thanks for answering..

Well my help request is over. I figured it out... I found the other two fuel injectors. Boy, those two suckers are well hidden. I had to take the dynamic chamber/fuel manifolds off. The wires were infact two fuel injector connections and the green connection was (I think its called) "water thermal sensor? and black connection is the one right under it. (Don't know what that one is called). Just to find the the injectors, run the wire harness under the dynamic chamber and reconnect and bolt everything back up sure was a lot of work. I was too tired to finish up. Still haven't checked the fuel pump, anybody have any guesses? Have any body else had a failed fuel pump? And how did you finally come to that conclusion?

If you place the return fuel hose in a container and then jumper the fuel check connector and w/key to on you should fill up the container rather quickly proving the pump is good.
