help!!!
alright so i got my new water pump today. the old one, was leaking. I put it in put all the belts back, alt, etc. I take it for a test run, runs great. but as soon as i try to get it to red line it makes a weird humming noise and my stick is violently shaking. from idle to 3k its good, if i try to pass 3k it gives that really bad sounding humming, and alot of gray smoke is pouring out of the exhust. my car has been sitting for only a week, so i dont kno if anyone has any ideas please help me.

temp gauge was at operating temp wen i took it for a test drive, yes it overheated and i drove it for a few seconds while it was overheated and i immediatly parked it and waited for it to go down before i drove it home. it smells relaly bad not like gas but maybe something burning? not too sure. the noise is a loud humming noise or atleast thats wat it sounds like to me.
