I really need help here guys... I was driving my car today trying to make sure it will run and everything was going to be ok.... Well it just died on me about 6 blocks from my dad's house.. The car still spins over, the car's computer never clicks on and the fuel/ignition system never turns on.... Please help. A friend of mine is coming to get me so we can go back to Las Vegas and if i cant get the car to run then i will have to leave it here.......

It could possibly be a ECU problem, or usually there is a wire running on the driver side of the Vehicle under the hood that sends power to everything. (Cluster gauge, Ignition etc.) You can also check to make sure all your ground wires are intact. The car will not start if you don't have enough ground.

So are you still having the problem??
Have you checked the basics yet??? is there power, or is only the engine dead??? Are the fuses intact??? Is the main relay plugged in??? What is the voltage with the key on??? Did you fix the leak between the AFM and the throttle body???
You need to post as much info as you can if you are still have this problem...

With all 89-91 models, SCAN THE ERROR CODES FIRST!
All it takes is a piece of wire (if you're stuck in the middle of no where), and ground the initial set plug in the front driver's corner of the engine bay - it's a single wire with a green plastic plug.
KEY ON the ignition - if the ECU finds something bad, it'll start blinking.
Want to tell us what kinda blinkiing pattern you get?
Now, there is also a ECU self-check, where the CHECK ENGINE light will turn on for about 3 seconds and then turn off.
IF IT DOESN'T DO THIS - the ECU is dead.

If the interior light is not working you have blown fuses or bad connections, are you sure you checked the fuses with a METER... not just by looking at them~!
And is the AFM even plugged in???

The main part under the hood checks out... I was/am getting power on both sides... The panel under the dash doesnt have any of them broke... I ohmed the fuses to see if they were ok and all seemed fine... I changed one that might have been iffy but still no dome light and no fire. Where can the ECU be found???

If the dome light is not working and it was, you have have an electrical issue. Not some ECU issue. Again you have a blown fuse or something disconnected if ths dome light is not working and it worked previous to the problem appearing.
The ECU gets its constant power from the same fuse/lead that powers the dome lights.
Then there are two fuses other fuses that also power the ECU
What are the engine codes???

I dont know what the engine codes were. The light would just stay on and now i cant get it to come on now. I will be back shortly i am going to go back out and change more fuses and check some wires.
