Aside from anything that is broken and needs to be replaced, you should go for something like exhuast or intake. 87 rx7 is kind of broad though. Turbo, non-turbo? although, I suppose exhaust or intake or broken stuff would work for both.

hell, cd player or speakers are always a good buy. what's your price range? these things tend to get kinda pricy. but yea, is it turbocharged or non-turbo?

Goto mazda and ask for new Mazda RX7 FC Chassis code Shifter Bushings.

I don't know about you guys but I would ******' love it if my G/F got me shifter bushings at a present. It's attention to detail!

If they question you, tell them your shifter feels sloppy and you want a rebuild kit. I dealt with them one time and when I said I need new bushings they looked at me funny. So I got a shifter "rebuild kit", according to them.

What about some nice reverse glow-gages from corksport.com or ebay?

I was thinking a boost gauge as well, with some cool gauge pods as well, but it seems this guy might already have them.
