1 your engine is prob flooded go to rx7.com and look for their un-flood page

2 It prob is a fuse there are two sets one under the hood with a black plastic cover. The second one is behind the pedals inside the car.

Check the 80A main fuse in the engine bay. That supplies power to the whole car.

Its safe to say, you have a power problem.

Either your battery is dead, or your main fuse is blown.

Also check for loose connections in and around the main fuse block, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND disconnecting the battery before messin with any of this. Also cheeck your battery terminals for tightness and security.

Have your battery tested...

Well, if you are into car audio, then you are aware of the basics of the 12VCD system.

Time to whip out your trusty Multimeter. The tool no FC owner should be without.

it would be good if you spelled it right but yes i am aware of the 12VDC system, which in reality, is a 14.4V system while the car is running. Please, try to be productive and help me find an answer. I just want to know if this was a common problem, with a common answer. I think i know some basics.... like if a battery is dead or not...

well believe it or not if the terminal are not shiny where they make contact between eachother then there won't be a good connection...I can't tell you how many times this has been a problem of mine...It will usually happen after a dry spell when the rain comes in the humidity goes up and for some reason the moisture gets between the terminals and causes them have a bad connection...try to clean your terminals and see if that fixes it...if not check the starter connection and fuses!!

I believe I was being productive in my first post! And so I have a little dyslexia, and spelled it 12 VCD, instead of 12 VDC. OOPS!!

Oh, and terribly sorry about the mistake, its the 14.4 VDC system.

Whatever....

do the headlights work fine? or are they dead too???

How about the horn?

If either of those are dead or weak, you do have a dead battery or very very bad battery connections.

And I agree with the above statements of getting out your digital multi-meter and checking voltage at the battery, the starter and the ignition switch.
