HELP!!! 13B trouble after rebuild

I just rebuild my S4 N/a with a kit from Atkins and Mazdatrix. I have the engine put together just like Chilton's says but the car won't start. When the key is turned over, the engine turns really fast like it has no compression. I checked the compressions and its good. I reset the ignition timing but does the same. I have an FD fuel pump in it. Is that overloading it with fuel? When I installed the rotors, I put the rear rotor in with the two weights up. Then turned the engine so the front rotor was pointing straight down with the two weights up. Is the rotor timing off? Please help!!! First rebuild w/rotary

Does anybody have any sites that shows proper rotor alignment?

The motor turns as if the engine were to be flooded.

You Cannot Put The Rotors In Wrong.

If their off weighted then would that make it not start?

Is it flooding with the FD fuel pump?

They can't be 'off' weighted, unless they're from different engines and have different stampings. There's no specific orientation (so long as you have stationary gears line up right, that's the only orientation there is). Have you done a compression check at all?

No but with the exhaust manifold off, they blow an even amount of air out of each port

Do you think the Fd pump might be drowning it?

It also might be the timing. My pulley has no marks on that I can find

With no marks on it, the chances of properly lining up the CAS/engine is going to be quite difficult. Do you have even pulses going back and forth from the front rotor to the rear rotor? with no pauses/etc?

For ignition timing, Chilton's says to turn the front keyway to 270 deg. and thats the trailing mark. I'm not sure.

Do you have a compression gauge at all? Or try turning it by hand to see if you've got pulses from each rotor (it'll always alternate between the front and rear)
