Hey all, I am new to this forum. I recently bought an 88 GXL. That is not my first one tho. About 2 yrs ago, I owned an 87 SE. Well, just basically givin my opinion on the forum. I LOVE IT. I have spent about 8 hrs the last 2 days just readin older posts and stickies. What a great group of guys, doin all this work for the ROTARY Nation. Well keep up the good work. One question tho, I want clear side marker and turn signal lenses for my car (its white, will look great) and S5 tails. I know that the S5 tails will be on an if-available basis but I havent found them clear markers anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated. S5 tails run around $200 around here. Someone always has them for sale. Very sharp looking car by the way.

i know that guy has a high starting price, but sometimes people won't bid when it is this high already.... i've seen about 160-200 for these.....

LMAO, I know what u mean *flashbacks to 87 SE*, this one is doing great so far, ty.

TY very much Cybaster and flamin-roids for your help and the links. I do bleieve that it is only rear markers, hmmph. Perhaps clear markers from other cars may work? I already bought the super-white turn signals and markers from Advance (Sylvania) they will look awesome with the clears.

PS--if any1 needs help on hookin up Aftermark radio without any trouble, let me know, I had one in my 87 and put one in my 88 just two days ago, never a fuss out of em.

 

BTW--sorry guys, but I have a n00b ? on the way here. I see more abbreviations the Fed. Govt on this site, and the stickies explain most of em, but not one. So can some1 tell me what the hell an SAFC is. I have never been into moddin (broke :P), but would like to now (got good job). And plz dont flame me for this, lol.

well, the markers are hard to find (strangely my car came with clear corner, last owner said it was european style.... with the blinker next to the parking lamp on the front corner light)(if that makes any sense)

i've seen some white FCs with smoked rear markers.... don't know if they filmed it or it came like that.....

as for using other markers... well the stock shapes of the side markers goes pretty good with the car.... since it is kinda boxy so a retangular marker looks well =)
