Hella H4 Conversion, Which one?
I am planning to get do a H4 conversion and was wondering which setup provides the most light.
I believe this is sealed beam

and This one comes with HB2 bulbs ( are these the standard h4 bulbs?)

i dont know the difference, but from a google search, ive seen that truck or 4x4 forums talk about using the hl72207, so maybe those are designated for the extra ride height, where as the H6054 are pretty much replacement car headlights.
I think I got Hella lamps on my car, ill let you know what i have in the morning.

thanks dude. I have another question about the bulbs. 60/55w, 100/55w, or 100/66w. I am assuming that 100/66w would produce the most light, is that right? if so and i choose to get 100/66w would i be blinding on-coming traffic? also xenon or halogen whats the difference and which one has the longest life?

sorry i looked I have autopal hl-109 *not sure how those compare to the Hella's, my car came with them*
I think i read tho if you run those high wattage bulbs, they run extremely hot. and can melt the harness.. You could upgrade the harness as well with a system that draws power directly from teh battery, i read up that those are good.

I run 100/80W bulbs and so far no issues. They're illegal to run on the road, but there's some way brighter bulbs out there that some how are legal (for instance the super powerful lights on some new cars) and the lowness of the car helps not blind oncoming drivers.

How do these compare to the silverstars's? what is the difference between Halogen's and Xeon's? and would i be able to install HID's into the H6054 housing?

Xeon is a name for blue tinted bulbs. Silverstars are great, good bang for the buck bulb that you can always buy and replace over the counter.
You can get an HID kit for the H6054 housings, just remember to get a high/low setup. Theres different types of HID kits so do some homework.. *people are against these setups so dont expect too much positive info on em*
