Heavy Duty Clutch Master Cylinder
Where can I get one. New HD plate is tough and is going to blow out the seals I fear on the stock Clutch Cylinder. Anyone know of a place that sells HD cylinders?

Not really sure u could try searching for the thread, I dont really remember it that much. In my car I have a ACT 6puck with their HD pressure plate. It did kill my original master cylinder pretty quickly. I called Chris at rx7.com and he told me a ss clutch hose would help and being easier on the clutch. Mainly in traffic, my car being a daily driver.

dont use the stock rubber hose.
I have a wilwood master clutch cylender..it's still in the box, so i cant comment on how well it does or doesn't work yet.
It's a common "upgrade" w/v8 fc's.

FD and FC master cylinders use the same seals, so I don't think throwing an FD cylinder in there would help. For what it's worth I've put 20k miles on my master cylinder pushing an ACT HD PP and the S/S disc and have no problems so far.

The ACT HD pp with street disk blew out my seals on my master cylinder within two weeks. I ordered a new master cylinder and slave from Nopionline.com and haven't had a problem with them in about a year daily driven. I think they are made by Tokico and where about 60 for the set.

Well guess I'll just wait and see. If it blows I'll check into that wilwood. Had thoughts of the selling the engine anyway and going with a V8. Dunno though.

LOL Just a thought I've had. Your right the engine is bad ***. Have a guy here with a 94 GT though he just put on a T66 and is laying down 540hp 589tq at 10psi. Man thats some power. I'll smoke him on a course but he'll smoke me on the straight.

no it doesn't, however i like my car to feel as solid as possible.
btw-the wilwood's stroke is shorter, and bore is larger. Meaning you have less clutch travel, making faster shifting possible.

hmm, that's not the one i have, mine has the stock mc's footprint, and has a remote res.
my friend bought it from granny's speed shop. he never put it in, and needed some coin, so i bought it from him.

Gotta say it....The stock rubber line acts as a spring in the system, it still pushes just as hard with stock or ss lines-----the ss is just faster.
I however, felt my master going out on the stock one and have put on the ss line and am looking for a better MC too. It shifts faster...but I still can't hold it in for more than 5 sec.(what she said-haha.)
