heavy blue smoke on decel...searched>>non-turbo

searched this and found that alot of turbo guys have this problem. could not find anybody that is non-turbo having this problem (aleast what i could find) well basicly what is happening is after heavy acceleration i let out and the people behind me get a HUGE blue smoke screen, kinda like in spy movies , but not that cool. this kinda concerns me its a 87 base i am running pre-mix at 1oz per gal. oil inj has been removed it also has full racing beat exhaust with presilencer and k&n cone filter but that is all that is modified on it. is this something that i can fix?? is it the same PCV problem the turbo guys are having? or is this something im going to have to just live with. oh and also it starts real hard (have to have gas to the floor for it to start) and it has the popular 3800 hesatation as well. is all this realated??

thanks

Sounds like your oil control rings are fried. You will need to have your motor rebuilt to fix this.

check your purge valve.
Have both hoses vent to atmosphere and see what happens.

Vacuum pressures are highest when the engine is at high rpm and the throttle is shut. I have some similar problems I have been working on. One thing different about yours is that mine only smokes once I get back on the throttle (after a shift) which introduces more fuel mixture for combustion again.

Some things I have been suspicious of have been the oil injection but I am not familar enough with its operation. You said you have removed yours though. You need to think about where the vacuum is pulling the oil in from somewhere after the throttle plate.

the oil is in the fuel. i am pre-mixing. 1oz to 1gal. i guess in my case that if there is more fuel being added that would explain the smoke. because if its adding fuel its adding oil as well. right?

I had a buddy and his s5 did the same thing. HE was told by a very good tech that the internal oil seals are bad. Hopefully something diffrent is wrong

I drove his car a few times and if anyone would ever tailgate me....... I would smoke them out and it would make LOTS OF SMOKE it was crazy..
