heatshield

well whenever rx7store actually gets my RB turbo back in and sends it I will be replacing my stock turbo, and the rest of the exhuast system obviously. My question is: is it neccesary to replace the heat shield back on? It's going to be a 110% bitch to get off. Can I just wrap the dp?

well I don't know if the RB system is SS. One of my buds has his dp from the same exhuast system wrapped and it cooled things down - a lot. You can hold onto the dp after driving around hard for an hour. It doesn't appear to be rusting or corroding.
