after you remove the radio surround and the vents there are a couple screws holding it on. remove those and there are three connectors. the one that is the bugger is located near the steering column. the other two are on the back of the logicon. unclip all connectors and teh little guy will pull straight out.

Do a search for logicon. There is a thread around here somewhere with a link to some detailed instructions. Also look in the link to the Factory Shop Manual as there are instructions in it as well.

ok, i found a writeup by Icemark:

"You will need to remove the radio/logicon trim bezel (two screws behind the vents, two screws behind the ash tray, remove the shifter surround pull out the bezel slightly, reach around the back and unplug the cig lighter and twist and remove the cig lighter light).

Remove the 4 screws holding the logicon in.

Reach around the back of the logicon, and remove two plugs.

Now you have three options for getting to the last plug of the logicon. The plug itself is above the accellerator pedal and plugged into the air mix motor and air mode motor.

So:

#1 you can reach up above the accell pedal all the way to the top of the dash and unplug it, then unlclip the plug and pull the logicon out.

Or

#2 Remove the gauge cluster, reach in back to the plug, un-plug it, then unlclip the plug and pull the logicon out.

Or

#3, Remove the hard dash board trim panel that runs the length of the dash board between the window and the soft dash board. Reach down unplug the plug, then unlclip the plug and pull the logicon out. "

I've did #3. Once that dash trim panel between the dash and windshiel is out you can see the plug through the windshield.
