Status Update:

Ive notived a small flip button too the left and abit under on the steering coloumn, ive also found the ***** i can turn under the front bumper.

Whenever i flip the button inside the car on the left light flips all the way up, so thats ok, but it doesnt flip back down :S when i switch the button back. This button obviously open the headlight no matter what settings my control panel in the middle behind the gear change is.

Short story, i found the on switch for the headlights inside the car but it only flips up the left one and when i turn it off it wont go back down, i then have too use the ***** in the front too manually flip them back down. Right one does.....nothing.

Another update :

So me and a bud was playing around with the headlight too see if we could make it work, and when we came back the next day and tried again , both headlights shot up and then back down again REALLY quick.

My buddy couldnt see it because of the hood and we havent been able too get the headlight back up again, it lowers itself like it should, but not popping up.. now my bud has asked me so many times if i really saw BOTH headlights pop up and down that im starting too think it was a mirage, but the suprise factor of my reaction when it happened means it just cant be.

We then tried dissconnecting the Signal wire ( white round plug with 4 connections inside ) and then of course the headlight didnt work, this was more or less too check if we had actually found the right connector, we tried using a voltmeter ( made in 1978 ) too measure the connections, FAIL , gonna have too borrow myself a more modern voltmeter haha, any clues too whats up guys?
it would be a shame buying a new headlight motor if it turns out the one i got is ok and there is some faulty wiring or bad connections..

Btw: Left headlight works fine now, pops both up and down on command, the headlight in question is the right one...
