Headlights ½-open
I've been searching round this forum, trying to find an article that informs one of how to get the headlight to open only a little bit or halfway. something like the inplemented picture, but nothing found yet.. anyone?

Does anyone also know which frontbumper this is?

lol, so many people ask about that. you could do it manually which i dont know how to do exactly, or you could by the pivot headlight controller, which is what i did.

you should get that one cuz its cheaper than retail, u can also print instructions of pivots website: http://www.pivotusa.com/

pull the headlight motor fuse located on the drivers side of the engine bay in the same fuse cluster as your main fuse. this disables the head light motors. The adjustment ***** are located underneath the car under the headlight motor assebles. Hand crank them to you desired hight and your set! I ran my car this way for a while but realized i couldnt see **** and it was stupid

Ummm... Ive done it before, but this is the "bootleg" way. Open the drivers door, reach in and grab the headlight switch. With the hood up and the cover off of the fuse box, activate the lights to go in the closed position. Before the close, pull the fuse and put it in the spare holder. Adjust to your pref.

Who cares when your drifting so fast that your headlights can't keep up! ....
yeah.
imo, it looks dumb, mainly because it looks like the old Nissan Z, and I don't care for the way that car looks.

I'm not sure if the netherlands has the same laws as the US but its Illegal to operate headlights like that. In the day they do NOTHING for you. They actually catch air and add drag decreasing milage and performance(tiny bit) And at night they decrease visibility and are not supposed to be used like that at all. I believe the law is named something like "minimum headlamp height" or something similar. If you want a half way open housing fabricate a dual circular lamp setup or a Thin rectangle lamp setup and make the appropriate brackets for the motors/lifting mechanism.
In my oppinion it looks retarded and is just part of a FAD which is completly bull ****. Be original, don't follow what others do. Being original doesn't mean being trendy, do things that noone has done before!

I think that for the first 100 posts a guy makes on this forum, they should all be instantly deleted to prevent threads like this and turbo>n/a threads....its getting old.
It looks cool, I sometimes do it during the day, but at night just put them up normally. It does hinder the aerodynamics, by how much I do not know. Everyone has their opinion, like I think every red rx7 is ugly as hell, every rx7 shouldn't have stereos, and rx7's should only be white, black, or silver, but nobody cares cause it's my opinion. Keep all the negative opinions to yourself, thats what I'm getting at.

No, they don't. BUT, there is so much light from street lights lining our roadways that I drive with the headlights down (but on) at night, using the setup I linked to, and I can see just fine.
Get out into the country, or in rainy weather, and I pop those lights and leave them up. Otherwise I can't see enough of the road and its markings to stay on top of things...
