So you kept the twins on the 13B-RE? Did you just set em up in parallel using a stand alone?

I'm not a big audio guy but that engine bay shot is pure sex!

Why thank you. Those aren't the Cosmo twins but I do have them in the basement, those are the HT-12's from the FD3S and I'm going to run them sequentially One of the reasons this PJ has gone on for so long was funding in the beginning. Now it's time. The only standalone that I had confidence in was the Motec M820 and that is just a stupid amount of $$$$$ but I had a goal and I'm sticking to it. In reality since this project began it would've been easier and cheaper and ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLMOST the same performance to go with a GT35R off the bat but sequentials in an FC has been a "dream" of mine since before singles got vey responsive. Now though with BNR Stage 3's the balance has shifted to twins again and when these blow BNR's it is with a new goal of 425RWHP.

Also, just to satisfy my morbid addiction to fabrication and making dreams a reality - there they sit and will hopefully fire in the next few months. I'll have to send you a finished photo - the enginebay will be different in color alone. Everything is either getting powdercoated, anodized or ceramicoated a satin black

So you're getting through the trouble of keeping them sequential hey? Killer project, specially with that engine. I wanted a 13B-RE badly but it was kinda over my budget haha.

Oh yeah and everything in that bay in black? indeed.

Ah, I see, you don't have stock headlingts. I was wondering how you fit such a large duct in there, because when I was building mine it looked like I'd be much more restricted in terms of duct size than what you have there, but with different headlights it'd be a different story.

Now you just need to get yourself a ducted hood to go with that intercooler.

Actually I had the Hella H4 replacements in there with that duct and they fit fine. The problem was the supports needed some massaging. By massaging I mean a cut a bunch out and welded in some new stock Those headlights are need-a-t2's kit. Frickin awesome setup. Right now they are aftermarket re-based HID bulbs but in the future I plan to do the real Hella conversion. The only problem is the cost - ~$500 per light.

I'm definately going to do something with the hood. Some sort of drop vent plumbed to the intercooler. Going to fashion it after the RE amemia hood because we know they do wind tunnel testing If it looks like **** I'll just buy one from RHDJapan but I'd rather not. There's also the Attihun hood but I've been unsuccessful in contacting them about one. There's is actually my favorite. I have a stock steel hood as well so when it's done I'm going to log AIT's and see how much of a difference it really makes. Howard logged air exit speeds of ~3mph on the highway so it might not make that big of a difference. Of course his wind speed sensor could have also been flawed by turbulence in the bay, who knows.
