I'm thinking about trying to rig some headlights from a 94 or so Camaro in the flash to pass windows. then i could ditch the popups and put in some air vents or something. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

The shape is almost EXACTLY the same. Unless you can find me some lights to use that are 1/2" tall, this is the best solution without cutting/modifying the front bumper.

I have one pair almost done. It looks like the s5 crossmember may be in a different place. I am going to test fit them on "Kurgan"'s car. In the meanwhile, they fit my s4 perfect. I will be posting pics in a week or two. I left town and all the stuff is back in Springfield. I get to it when I can. Sorry this is going so slow, but it is moving forward.

OK, the way I originally wanted to make them takes me about a week to do a set. I am going to try to make a mold or contract the work to a plastics company in Springfield to see if I can just have a run made. This will make them A LOT cheaper. If I were to continue to do it the way I had anticipated, I would have to charge 600$ without the lights! It is very time consuming.

Nick, yours I am going to try to do the old fashioned way so you don't have to wait as long. What if I just moved my operation into your garage? We'll just throw a tarp over the motorcycle!

Sounds good to me man. Bring whatever you need over. The inlaws finally bought a house so all of their junk will be out of the garage and we'll have room for the mill and a blasting booth here very shortly. I'm gonna build the blasting booth, but I have to run a 220 ckt out to the garage cuz I keep blowing breakers inside and its a pain in the ***. Plus, I need to get a pressurized sand blaster, this gravity feed one kinda sucks...

Anyhow, any reason we couldn't set up molds and fiberglass the whole thing at once? Could even make some carbon fiber ones for the trendy

Anyhow, we'll be working on the 20b, bring that set over and we'll see how it fits on an S5. Hopefully have the beast running this weekend...

I'm waiting for pictures of the kit... if it looks good, I'd be in. I'd like to see something finished on a car.

Nope. The only reason I'm not doing that now is because I share a 1 bedroom apt with my fiance. She likes flowers and I like fiberglass. Guess which we have more of? Right.

I already know how to make the mold. I couldn't visualize it when I started but it came to me when I was trying to make the kits without it taking a month. With the materials that I already have, we could make the s5 ones in a hurry, too. Let me know.

I was going to go to Springfield tonight. Should I just go ahead and grab the stuff tonight or should I wait?
