headlight and mirror conversion question

How hard would it be to convert the headlights to the 3rd gen ones and the mirrors off a TII ... to fit on a '88 GXL?

That would require hood work, fender work, and bumper work just for the cosmetics. Cutting into the frame is the fun part. Did it on a 3000GT to switch pop-ups to projection. Lots of dremel work ....

hmm.. i'm thinking of converting my mirrors like teh TIIs.. just cause I think they're better... but with the headlight conversion, I'm .. hmm leary. How much damage to the hood when working on it would you cause?

These are only thoughts in my head to do... sometime.

I want to see that picture, if someone has it.

Chris - I dunno. I like my pop-ups.. but I also like what the FD's lights are.....

The mirrors.. are well just cool and I can see better out of them ...
