the light would reflect off the high gloss finish but probably reduce lighting quality. i have the same style housings but without the black surface and they work just fine, they cost about $25 without that black crap..

"Comes with a free pair of high quality H4 HID XENON bulbs"

those are not xenon HIDs, they should be turned in for false advertising because those are standard H4 halogen bulbs. idiot ricers don't even know what xenon HIDs are..

Talking about headlights, check these out.

These are the headlights that are currently on my 1991 GTX JDM. Looks like projector headlights with high/low beam. Personaly i dont like the look, but if they work better than standard H4 lense with a good set of bulbs then i might keep them.

I've got the same exact ones. I like the look over stock and the ability to replace just the bulb.

The free ones which come with them reflect signs very well but long range takes a huge hit and the cops pull you over for it as well.

I bought some Sylvania h4 bulbs and love them.

Not worth it. Take the $40 bucks and go drink and drive instead. They'll both be about the same as far as safety goes.

i tried some of the blue housing ones, where the outer plastic(not glass) is tinted blue. not only did they not fit worth a crap, i couldnt see a thing. even with the brights. i dont know if it was the bulbs or what, but they were only in for maybe 2 days before i pulled them out.

got some sylvania silverstars, much better. dont waste your money.

Ebay Diamond cut bulb on the left with 6.5X xenon style bulb, OEM on the right.

You can see you will blind other drivers and you will be throwing a lot of light in the air where you don't need it. You need the light low and on the road.
