Just as an FYI.. the Mariah piece is a OEM steel lid, with a molded in FRP NACA duct. Mariah found that full FRP lids warped after a short time, so they went with the OEM lid and insert. Of course this means more work and higher cost. Just for information, as I see some of the others are full FRP lids.

Or you can make your own from a spare lid that you can get from a junkyard, that way it'll be exactly the way you want it (skill allowing). They aren't hard to make, but they do take some patience while finishing them (bondo, primer, paint), but you'll at very least have to paint whatever one you buy.

Warping comes from improper setup time when your making a fiberglass part or using really cheap resin and or not measuring your catalyst. I do 3 layers and it takes 4 days. 1 layer=1day cure. Lightly sand off any imperfections and give it one more layer of duratech and one more day to cure and its ready to be shipped.

Warping is also caused by overzelous sanding when doing prep for paint. If you sand off the gelcoat you get into the resin. If your using polyester resin you open up a new layer of resin that is not fully cured and it shrinks. The heat of sanding too hard can also cause issues.

If you sent Mariah YOUR HEADLIGHT Cover, they'll stamp it. You don't have to PAY for another OEM cover.

it isn't difficult to make your own from an OEM cover, all you need is a dremel with a cutoff wheel, a fiberglass repair kit, sandpaper and some paint.

I'm freaking lazy!

That and I noticed he was selling 3 rotor gaskets. I was somewhat curious to what I would find at the end of that drive !
