first off, i hope my vert ends up as sick as yours
and to answer your question, i have the racing beat header, and i didnt have any problems, it cleared the subframe reinforcement just fine, but getting it in and out is a pain in the ***.

I tried to put a Pacesetter header on a vert.. The problem is the additional bracing bar on the front subframe is right where the Pacesetter runs [~80% of a chunk of this brace would have to be removed - Which I highly recommend against..]

From what I can tell by the Pacesetter catalog.. They never bothered to redesign the header for the FC at all..

So, just get a Racing Beat header - they fit all FCs perfectly and they're much nicer looking anyway

Pacesetter is not a good brand in general.

I hate seeing this^
Pacesetter may not be as nice as Racingbeat, but I put a used Pacesetter header on my car six years ago and its in great shape.
The flanges are good, the piping is good, fitment was good and they sell pretty cheap.
Now I love Racingbeat, dont get me wrong and if I was buying new, Id probably get a rb but the pacesetter has never had a problem. So I dont see any reason to tell people not to get a pacesetter header.

DREYKO >> What do you have in the middle? Cat? Presilencer? For a cat it'll have to be custom with RB or Pacesetter..

I think the thought against Pacesetter is that you can usually find a RB header for the same price used, and then you have a much nicer looking piece [elegant merge, shinier] -- and for verts the Pacesetter isn't a good idea. Looking at their catalog - they just took the GSL-SE header and said "eh, good enough" for the FC.. and a few years later "eh, verts aren't worthwhile to redesign for.."

The Pacesetter header does make the car's sound a bit different, and if I still had a stock catback, I'd say the Pacesetter header sounded better than the RB header.
