Just wondering if a header will pass visual inspection? I already know my upcoming setup will pass sniffer.

 

Not in CA.

But in some cases you used to be able to ask for arbritration and then you will go to a state owned center and they only care about what comes out, not what the car has on it.

But I don't know what AZ does in those cases.

You might also try and get the old heat sheilds from the old pre-cats and upper exhaust and cover the header with that and fool the un-knowing smog attendent (they usually are very weak when it comes to RX-7s in general- I once had a guy fail me because he couldn't see the EGR, but it was right there).
