I want to buy this pacesetter header, its 150 bucks off ebay, the part number is 70-1152 and i went to the pacesetter website but it does not tell the length of the header, i want to be able to take the stock maniflold off and put the header on with out major complications, and will i see noticible gains on car, my engine has a streetport with 2.5in pipe from the maniflold to some cannons, i have no cats or anything just a straight pipe all the way back, even a custom built 2.5in y pipe, what yall think

I just bought the pacesetter header for my car. First, there is an ebay store, not an auction selling that header for 10 dollars less, its 159 and change shipped.
The header is designed to hook up to the MAIN cat, which it does prefectly.(this may be an issue for you) As for fit, its easy. I installed it myself in 1.5 hours, and that was talking it slow.( drop rest of exhausts etc. btw i have punched cat with 2.25 pipe to dumper) First off, its at least 10-15 lbs lighter, maybe more. Only issue is if you get that black painted one, well, it stayed painted for about 20 mins of running. It cooked the paint as soon as I turned the car on! Maybe I just got bad paint. As for gain, I havent got to drive it alot yet, because I started having air leak problems under the intake manifold. But from when I did drive it, it gave the care a much quicker feel. It fells as it it definatly pulls harder, esp above 4g's. The biggest diffrence is as soon as you fire her up. I hope noise is not an issue. The car is LOUD. I an not exagerating, its is loud. It seems to be worth the money tho. Although just about everone here will tell you to save and go with the racing beat. I should be getting my car back tomorrow, so if you can wait, I will give the header a more indepth test.

Yeah, bolts right up to the stock main cat.

I have one I wouldn't mind selling cheap... it was too loud for my liking. PM if you're interested.
