Arrow Is a header flange the same size as turbo flange?

I am just trying to make a Connector pipe.Like a small adapter to attach a Vband turbo to a stock type exhaust flanged downpipe.(3 Inch)
I need to know if I can just Buy a 3 bolt Header Flange.,Will it Fit?
I want to use it as a Turbo to Downpipe Flange.(where the turbo bolts the down pipe on).
Thanks Gents, any suggestions are great.Cheers Dave.

why dont you just get a vband flange welded onto the downpipe so you can clamp it to the turbo? or am i missing something?

He's likely making a spool piece to connect the turbo to the down pipe, if you use an aftermarket turbo manifold it will be relocated about 8-12" forward. And this way he isn't bastardizing a nice downpipe, and can sell it people with stock turbos in the future.

Exactly..HIT on the head,
Why start to Weld **** on to a Nice 3 inch Corksport Downpipe, when I need to bastardize it to make the length up to Connect to an aftermarket turbo.
I have a couple Turbo setups that I would like to Swap out without having to reweld the Downpipes' flanges to Connect up the Different Turbos.
SO,I make a Couple Adapter Pieces, leave the 3 inch Corksport Downpipe unmolested, and that gives me Choices of Switching from Not Only Stock S5 turbo but to Two other aftermarket setups.(one T70 and the other is a Cheap T3.
HENCE making an Adpater that wil Fit the Stock down pipe flange and then the Different Vband flanges for Each turbo..just BOlt on adapter, bolt on Turbo and Manifold setup and it is Switched out..UP and Runnig..NO fuss.
Of course the Oil lines will be made to intercahnage will All the setups so I don;t need to Screw with that either.
SO,,back to my question,,can a 3 inch header flange work as a stock Pipe to Turbo flange,
Thanks Men,.STYX.

Dave, I don't think that will work, you will see the bottom hole has some more meat between it, and that the hole.

Here is the 3" 3 bolt:
