Unhappy Having S-AFC problems need your help

I was starting to run lean in 3rd gear and up so I put in my S-AFC and now it runs even leaner and the bitch of it is ever time I shut off the car the S-AFC loses all the settings and I have to sit there and set it up all over again. I hooked it up like it said in the vehicle specfic book so what's up is the guide wrong?(power wire is black with white strip right?) Here are the settings I am using Flap 6in 6out, 4cylinder arrow up, low setting 60% high 80%, I start at 8000rpm @+10% and go down 1% ever 1000 same thing for low but start at 7%. Now here is what is up with my fuel problem when I am getting in to it second gear and up at 4000rpm or so it goes off the scale lean but if I back out of it and get back in it it goes back up to mid stocih on the autometer. Also I will get a wiff of gas and no it isn't the pulse damper already checked that. I have some 720cc secondaries for it but I lack the know how to put them in. (throttle body looks like a bitch). Here are my current mods to help:
racing beat turbo back exhaust
racing beat fuel cut
bonez intake
S-AFC
mazdatrix short throw
greddy turbo timer
walbro fuel pump
boost gauge
A/F gauge
RAM power grip clutch (don't buy one they suck big time)

best 1/4 mile so far 13.8@101.5mph (that was with clutch slipping like crazy)

Sorry for being so long please I need your help I can't get through to rx7store where I bought it

also, you must have some wiring problems because the SAFC should not loose the memory settings.... re check your wiring

Well I found the problem. It was me operator error. Guess I should start reading instructions more often.

Talking fuel system!!!

If you have an 91 turbo, you have the better wastegate, I only see 10-11 psi on a very cold night. I have my afc only tuned down before the secondaries come in. I do not have it turned up after 4,500 rpms. and I still read rich @11 psi on a cold night under full throttle with the stock fuel system.

There is something wrong with your fuel system. If you have to turn your afc up 10%, 9 % 8% of something like that, there is something wrong. Your going to fry your injectors running 7-10% more fuel.

I would try and get those 720 cc and check the voltage to your fuel pump. Probably get it prof. tuned.

Do a search with my user name.... and S-AFC as the topic.
I have a few wiring fixes that totally solved my problems.... my car would barely run.... and I had to lean it out 40-50% to get it to run OK... then when it warmed up it would need -20% to run.... it was messed... the RPM was a few hunded off too.
It's all fixed now.
I found that I lost settings one time- but that was all... I -THINK- that you may have to exit the settings menu- and go back to the main menu for the new settings to stay in once you turn the car off....
