i would change the gas, pull the flood fuse and crank it to get some oil moved around before it revs itself to 3k. and ya change the oil.

I went to Iraq for 6 months, when I came back, my car fired right up. Same gas, same oil. It was in the garage the whole time, but it shouldn't be too hard to start.
