Like it says, has anyone entered their rx7 into a car show and gotten points? If, so what kind of points. The reason I ask is I'm entering in my 1987 TII and I don't think I will get any points as all I have is 2 gagues and a headunit and some perforance mods.

I have a feeling most of the guys here do more go than show. Any shots of your car? If it's really clean and has some good power I guess you would do alright.

 

Ill let ya know this spring. Call me crazy but im going to try my hardest to try to get my car into a magazine when its all done, wish me luck.

Ah............yea its ah coming along great. Accually I did start it but I just never finished it.

 

I went to a few shows last year. Most of them, my car was still underconstruction. I went to the ImportXpression show at the Boston Expo, and I was the only RX-7 there Shows now are all about looks and how much **** u got in there. Conversion are going to be the big thing too this year i bet. Like corvette lights in the back of an S-10, or a BMW front end on a Honduh. Of around 8 shows, I only won once at a near by show. They had all different classes. I was put in the Subaru/VW/Mazda class and took 1st home We'll this year i hope to enter more competitions, but compete in audio and ill show on the side. I'm definetely try to go to Nopi tooo

an ugly one. so is that god awful wing.

 

mariah mode 5...... the wing actually looks a hell of a lot better than those shitty 4' high aluminum ones I see alot of. I know Aaron had one on his carb'd 90 and Now I think he's putting one on the 91 CYM TII he has. But the front end reminds me of the earlier Supras, which I hate.

They are the Tenzo RS-5s on 215s all around.

Just need some sides and rear bumper to match the front.

 

I'll be entering hot import nights here in Houston on June 7th. Hopefully I'll have my GP Sports kit on by then.

the import scene doesnt understand performance, they just car about looks like the stupid mazda wagon w/the puzzle paint scheme
