Question hate to ask...

was doing some research and found this:

I just looked up the TPS rewire info, does this look right?

When looking directly at the FD TPS (when the push tab release is up), there are 4 pins.
1 - Ground
2 - Signal (Narrow range)
3 - (+5V)
4 - Signal (Full range)

Series 4 TPS Wiring---Series 6 TPS Wiring---------Series 6 TPS pin

Orange (+5V)---------BR/W - 5V+------------------3 - (+5V)
Green/Red Signal-----G/R - Narrow Range TPS---2 - Signal (Narrow range)
Black/Red Ground-----BR/B - Ground-------------- 1 - Ground
-------------------------- B/G - Full Range TPS-------4 - Not Used

I don't have the FD TPS connector though.

is this correct? im really bad at diagrams like this, can someone show me what this means??? trying to use the fd TPS and want to hook up to the s4 harness.

the diagram is just explaining the amount of wires in each connector and their coresponding colors. looks like its telling you how to convert from an S4 tps to an S6 tps when using an S4 wiring harness..

do you have the s6 TPS connector? the harness plug? if you do, you can make a custom adapter harness so that you don't have to cut up the factory engine harness plug.

The wires on the TPS pigtail harness are not shown anywhere. The colors of the wires on the plug that connects to the pigtail plug is shown in the manual and is shown in the attachments. The last jpg is where I wrote what each wire on the plug that connects to the TPS pigtail harness, does in life

If you have a series six TPS with pigtail and plug, then you can look at the plug at the bottom of the jps and see where the respective G/R, B/G, BR/W, BR/B wires are located in that plug.

That's about as far as I care to go on this. I guess you can somehow make a series six TPS bolt to a series four intake. I guess. I don't know..

the IAT will need the correct connector.
the Fd and the FC IAT's are just Ever SO slightly different..I know,I did the swap
the threads are different..(look into a IAT from www.Fighters-garage.com .it is a great piece and doesn't heatsoak.you get the connector too.).
Now.you can make a Patch Connector using an Old S4 TPS male end,and a S6 Female FD TPS connector pigtail..I did that too!...(the wiring that NJGB gave you is Correct). That way you can always switch back to FC mode if needed.
unless you are a WIZARD you can't put a FD tps on a S4 TII Throttle body or a FC Tps on an FD throttle body..You can however make a Plate to adapt the FC throttle body to mate with the FD upper.it wouldn't be that hard...(money can do anything).
I may just try that yet,my Fd Tps's just don't Read well.maybe it's my setuup..I will find out though.if I get Bored,I got lots of parts I can cut up!
so there ya go..some Crap to read!..haha..enjoy!
