God damn that's a long time, I was only 11 years old and wouldn't have been able to tell you what an rx7 was if you asked me. I've had my FC since 97 and have only been able to drive it for maybe two of those 8 years. They've been a headache for me since I bought my first FC the year prior. Well I hope my re-rebulit motor will last more than 900 miles this time

Clean looking vert man! Just need to get rid of those big foglights and exchange them for some smaller one's and you would be set! :-P

Those are not fog lights. They are driving lights and they make night like day. I would never drive through the SC countryside at night without them. Too many deer stalking my car!

I made a blend of 409, cheer laundry detergent, oxy clean, and some automotive carpet foam( think its called tuff stuff or something like that) and i would spray water in the bucket with all that stuff in it to stir up a good foam and used a tad of water but mostly foam and a bristled brush and lots of white towels and it cleaned right up. My buddies was worse off though, his had been left on the highway wit hthe top down for a few days while it was raining( it was abandoned) He did the same thing i did and then sprayed it with a carpet dye and it looked as good as new. The only catch is that his interior is that blue color not ours.

sweet verts guys. i would never be able to have a car that long and keep it mostly stock. that car would have had a tII swap or turbo setup ages ago> its really nice to see cars mostly stock after so much time. its nice to be able to see what they looked like brand new instead of dented up, horrible paint, stained interior and what not. Im amazed

Cool, thanks. Any advice for the interior headliner? It's pretty scummy.

You would probably see my left arm for sale on e-bay before you see my vert.

It has a 9,999,999 mile odometer, and I plan on seeing them all roll by.

When I wanted more power, I just got a FD. This way I have a nice car for crusing and a nice car for crusing a little faster.

Not that I have not thought about altering it. But in the long run (to me) it is not worth all the expense.

That's how I have it.

The 89 Ragtop is for reliability and extreme drivability down those windy roads.

The 59 Austin Healey is for those sunny days and the lazy drives down the windy roads.

The 01 Pathfinder is for the snow, rain and mud...

Yes, I go Rodeo for Snow, Rain, Mud...

Your Austin is not reliable?

I would think that it is so (mechanically) simple that it would give lots of reliable service compared to a modern car.
