Why do you think it's "flooding out"?

Symptoms:
1. ____________
2. ____________
3. ____________
4. ____________

Fill in the blanks.

why do you think it is flooding while you are driving???

Do you mean running too rich while driving???

Or do you mean flooding while parked, and you go to start it and it is flooded???

How's your fuel filter?

Does it flood out after it's been parked for a little while? Like overnight, go to start it in the morning, and it's flooded? Does it only flood when it's hot?

Give some information before you start getting pissed off.

i had a somewhat similar problem kinda.. i would be rolling along at like whatever speed and then it would just start to die...out of no where..i would let off the gas and then it would idle ok but when i got back on the throttle rpms would jumpup to like 2000-2500 but then start to die.. so i jiggled the top fuel injectors it turns out that i was getting a short in the injector wiring.. .. does your car idle at all when this happens.. or does it die completely?

had a similar problem with a customer's car recently, he had his open element air filter resting on the connector to the fuel pump relay behind the RF headlight, the wiring was fraying and grounding out through the metal filter screen then to the body via the air filter body rubbing on the resistor heat shield on the relay housing.

something to check anyways, however this problem would intermittently blow out the fuse in the cabin followed by the EGI fuse under the hood.
