has anyone changed their tubing for the oil meter?
i just recently ordered theses tubes that came out to a total of 96 bux for 4 of them and i was looking at how to change them do you guys have any tips for this?
if i am unclear they are banjo bolted lines that connect to the spider vaccum hoses and some of the spots seem really tight. also their endings are in front of the engine will i have to take alot of stuff off?

You will have to take your upper intake manifold off. If it is something you have never done i would get someone to give you a hand that has done it before. Once you get the UIM off is should be pretty easy to replace the lines.
well i did get everything off but it looks like there is 2 lugs to unscrew off the vacume intake things and one is underneath the secondary fuel rail will i have to take that off?

got to mazda trix and get a new vaccume spider for the oil injectors.. if you try to replace that buggar and its the original unit, it will be so friggin hard it will moslt likely crak and cause a vaccume leak!!!! Its like 50 bucks... BUT.. since you already bought the oil lines... you might as well.
Aslo... you have to use a thin wrench to hold the oil injector still while you take the banjo bolt out with another wrench... if you eyeball the oil injector real close, you will see what i mean.. I filed a cheap wrench down with a grinding wheel!!!!

Use a sharp razor blade on the spider.
And if on the cheap......and you break the spider......go to the auto store and buy several plastic tees and make the equivelant from them. The spider supplies air from the front of the throttle plates TO the injector bleeds. Just FYI that you didn't ask for.
