If your going to swap why not do a S4 NA to S4 Turbo swap? Ive read that thats the easiest and cheapest way to greatly improve both power and potential.

If your just interested in the VDI then you could do an intake switch for about a 10-12 HP gain, http://homepage.mac.com/carldavis/intake.html <---- all the info on that.

Whatever you decide, good luck.

Wiring nightmare. Was it worth it? In terms of power yes, in terms of price NO.

the power difference between an s4 and s5 (n/a or TII) can easily be achived by intake and exhaust. for n/a's racing beat offers a true dual exhaust system, for which there is plenty of data on this forum for, and for TII they also offer an exhaust system that claims like a 60hp gain. altho pretty expensive, when you compare the cost and not to mention EFFORT of swapping from s4 to s5, it puts thinks into perspective. for all that you might as well do a n/a to TII conversion or if you wanted to stay n/a, get some port work and a nice exhaust. as david said, whichever way you choose, good luck/skill.

Done two of them...

Unless you have a complete parts car for the donor parts, forget it. It's going to be much less stress to just go buy a nice S5 and call it a day.
