Has 17x8 +30 rims become impossible to find?
I've been out of the 17" rim market for a while, but just recently started searching for some again only to find its become impossible to find 17x8's 5x114.3 +30 offset. Have rim companies just stopped making this size? Is my only option to search eBay and forums for these sizes to fit an FC? I need some good 17's for an FC that won't rub stock fenders, suspensions, and no rolling. Any recommendations?

is there any particular reason you want/need that size? keep in mind different widths and offsets can give you the same fitment. for example a 9+40 will fit the same as a 8+30. theres lots of combinations to play with. are you wanting a nice japanese wheel or are you looking to buy something cheap and junky like a rota, str, jnc, xxr and so on....

BS .... like to see you run a 17x9+40 on the front of a FC without a spacer.
If the coilover has strut to hub camber slots on the bottom mount as well as strut top mount camber slot on the top mount you adjust the bottom to positive camber and the top to negative camber to move the strut away from the wheel.

I'm just trying to find something that can run 225/45/17's all the way around because I'm poor, or smart, depending on your outlook. I've run offset on multiple cars, it's not smart unless all you do is track the car. It just seems like all the good wheel companies (both JAP & Euro brands) have abandoned this sizing. I can understand, they're obviously going to make more money selling 19's and 20+, versus 17's in an offset and lug pattern that isn't commonly used anymore.
But then again YOKOHAMA did just re-produce their old 13 and 14" tires to make some JDM 80's car's look right. Here's hoping they re-make some ADVAN wheels and for the late 80's early 90's crowd.

Until then (doubt it), I'll be keeping an eye out on for sale forum.

then you will do fine with the Bullit wheels..that is if you don't mind "other car" wheels.
I got a set on my FC with 225 on front and 245 on back.
I took the Gunmetal color and covered it with the Duplicolor Wheel covering stuff..that rubber removable paint.
Here's some crappy pics that shot out of my laptop..I think they are dying to get tossed..lol!
The pics are old the car is together..(302..)..and on the road.Suspension is KYB-AGX's on stock springs.

Jokes a side, I really will look into this, if no other option comes up quickly. I don't want to drive around in limited edition 10th Anniversary rims!!!

Enkei offers the "RPF1" in a 17x8.5+30 in silver ...that is a nice light wheel that would fit your requirments...i.e. fit stock like suspension and not have roll with a 225/40R17 tire in the front or even a "non-blocky" 235/40.

Thanks, forgot about them because I always associated their non JDM and OEM stuff with discount tires.
