hard start and not running on one rotor?
ok so some time ill go to start my 87 FC and i will start fine, and lately its ben going a weird thing wher eit wont start so ill try the IGN fuze trick, adn then it will try to and ill give it a little gas and it will. but it has no power, sounds really weird and will stall if i dont give it gas constantly. i cant figure out why its doin this, anyone have any ideas?

Sounds to me like it's lost all compression on one rotor, thus causing it to only run on one rotor.
You could also have one leading sparkplug fouled, not firing, causing one rotor to be dead, or one primary fuel injector not opening, causing it to be dead.
I have seen cars with bad water seals that would flood one rotor with coolant which would then wet the sparkplug and keep it from firing for a few seconds until the heat/airflow/fuel displaced the water on the plug and let it start firing normally, but this doesnt sound like what you're dealing with.

1) compression check
If that is good...
2) replace leading plugs (or all of them)
if it still doesnt run right...
3) check and/or replace fuel injectors and clips. Check for injector pulse with a noid lite.
Unless you are losing coolant with no external leaks, you do not have a coolant seal problem. IN the event that you did, it requires a full rebuild.

It checks for signal from the wires. You can plug it directly into the plug on the harness. IF you solder on some test leads you can check the signal at the ecu, which is helpful in diagnosing a bad harness (signal at the ecu but not at the injector). It has nothing to do with the injector itself.
